Oil & Gas / Mining

We are one of the foremost gold dealers with respect to both local sales and exports to other countries and thereby hold a portfolio of operations and projects in Ghana. We work across the full spectrum of the mining value chain with a major development project in Mansu Nkwanta in Ashanti Region of Ghana.

There are extensive brownfield, greenfield and marine exploration programmes in Ghana which extend to both established and new gold-producing regions.

We are involved in managed and non-managed joint ventures, strategic alliances and wholly owned ground holdings.

Given the current prospects and also government support for the oil and gas industry in especially the south western part of Ghana, our operations include services in oil logging (upstream and downstream operations), such as discovery and exploration etc and other related works .

Our background keeps us a step ahead of others in various sectors of the mining industry and hence work hand-in-hand with both local and international companies to achieve mutual benefits.

The above is against the background of the Ghana Gold potential as depicted below.

Ghana is Africa’s second biggest producer of gold. Production rose 12 percent in 2009, with output at the country’s two biggest mines increasing. Ghana’s mines produced 2.9 .million ounces in 2009, compared with 2.6 million in 2008.

Ghana’s largest mine is at Tarkwa which is located in south-western Ghana, about 300 kilometers west of Accra. The project consists of six open pits, two heap leach facilities, and a CIL plant.
